Scorch is a Plugin for your web browser that lets you view, play back, save and print sheet music.
Once you have downloaded and installed the plugin (which should happen automatically) you should see controls at the top of the Scorch window.
From left to right these are:
| Arrows left and right for moving forwards or backwards by page, where there is more than one page. |
| Little musical notes, which allow you to select which playback device to use. Scorch uses MIDI so you need to have a midi instrument on your computer. |
| Playback controls - Play; Pause; Stop; Rewind; Fast Forward; Tempo slider (move this about to set a tempo you like). |
| Transpose button: this lets you change the key of the music. |
| Save button. |
| Print button. |
| Scorch website link button. |
You can use the playback controls or else simply click on the bit of music you want to hear.
